Geometrical diagrammatic or symbolic representations or symbolic elements extracted from a particular religion or culture, having power in them, is what we term as Yantras.
Yantra is a Sanskrit word which can be broken into two parts. The first part ‘Yam’ means root, meaning the very essence of an object, and the second part ‘tra’ is derived from the word ‘trana,’ meaning liberty form bondage. So, literally speaking, yantra would mean liberating oneself from bondage. As per Hindu religion, abstract and natural forms of stones are also used as an identity of the deities like a naturally formed smooth stone is worshipped and regarded as a Shivalingam while a roundish flat stone is referred to as ‘Shaligram.’ Even Lord Vishnu used to be represented in the form of geometric diagrams with figures and numbers in ancient times. These mystical diagrams, what we call, are Yantras.
As per what Dr. Puneet Chawla says, Yantras can also be used to rectify Vastu environmental defects. When energized with proper mantras and shlokas, these yantras help to induce positivity within a surrounding and even rectify the wrongs in terms of Vastu compliancy. Dr. Chawla is a highly renowned Vastu expert with more millions of followers located against the length and breadth of the globe. He says that yantras are a form of super science which was evolved many many years ago, in ancient times, and Geometrical yantras are capable of correcting all kinds of Vastu defects pertaining to any and every direction.
